I hope this note finds you all well. We are super excited for another fantastic week of summer band! A couple of friendly reminders:

The schedule for the week will be 9-4 for musicians with a meal break from 12-1 and 4-9 for color guard members with a meal break from 6-7. Please have your student come with a packed lunch or have a plan for getting food to them, students must stay on campus for this break.

As my band director always said, "Early is on time, on time is late...". Please continue to have your student to LHS at least 15 minutes early! It helps us get everyone in the right place at the right time to make the most out of our rehearsal time. 

Keep your student hydrated! Please continue to encourage them to drink water at home between rehearsals, it will not always be as beautiful as it was this past week!

Lastly, please note that not this week, but the following week will be 9-9. These are long days, but will be vital to the start of our season. Friday, August 7th will end at 4pm following a performance at 3:30. Come out to the rehearsal field and celebrate their hard work!
